Evaluation of Radiographic Features of Third Molars with Digital Panoramic Radiographic Images: A Retrospective Cross-Sectional Study

Objective: This study aims to evaluate the prevalence of impacted 3rd molar, angulation status, level eruption, relationship with occlusal plane molar teeth, and rate pathology in their own adjacent tooth Turkish adult individuals who applied Akdeniz University Faculty Dentistry via panoramic radiographic images. Material Methods: 700 patients were examined for this retrospective study. In addition localization, angulation, molars, accompanying pathologies 2nd molars recorded retromolar spaces measured. p-value <0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: The impaction a total 2800 29%. Impacted found at higher (54.4%) mandible. It determined that teeth mostly vertical position (77.8%) 63.1% them A. 49.9% mandibular third class I.
